Twister Diamond Floor Pads are formulated to maintain and refresh Terrazzo, honed or polished natural stone, marble and concrete floors. These pads may be used in conjunction with daily scrubbing procedures or as a separate maintenance procedure. Twister Red Pad This pad should be used in intense restoration processes on Terrazzo floors. Twister Red – Extreme (400 grit) pad is designed for use with an automatic scrubber or standard speed floor machine with an operating speed between 150 -350 rpm. Do not use a high speed burnisher with the Twister Red pad. 400 grit Twister red pads are for intense, heavy duty cleaning of worn terrazzo floors. Twister Red will effectively remove scratches and stains from the surface and leaves a clean, matte surface prepared for the subsequent Twister steps. Make 4-6 passes in preparation for the next Twister step. The average life of the Twister Red pad when used on terrazzo is 10,000 square feet (factoring in 5 passes). Twister White Pad Step 1 for the Standard or Intensive Twister method. Twister White will remove tiny scratches from the surface and leaves a silky matte, cleaned and well prepared surface for the subsequent Twister steps. Twister White pad aggressively hones the floor removing most scratches including those caused by typical foot traffic. Make 4-6 passes with low speed machine, auto scrubber or high speed burnisher keeping the floor wet. 800 grit diamond pad Very aggressive For damaged floors or use after grinding HD removal of scratches & light discoloration on stone Leaves a satin or matte finish Twister Yellow Pad Step 2 for the Standard or Intensive Twister method. This stage leaves a surface that is well prepared for the final step of the Twister method.Used to prepare the floor for the Twister Green pad. Make 4-6 passes with low speed machine, auto scrubber or high speed burnisher keeping the floor wet. 1500 grit diamond pad Cleans & prepares floor for high polish pad Removes fine scratches Conditions stone & concrete floors for final polishing Twister Green Pad Final step for the Standard or Intensive method and also for daily maintenance of the floor. This step will effectively maintain a high gloss on the surface when used regularly. Twister Green is ideal for use on all floor surfaces such as stone, vinyl and linoleum floors. For high-speed polishing of terrazzo and natural stone surfaces. Twister Green is also very effective in polishing polish-coated vinyl and linoleum floors. Make 4-6 passes with a high speed burnisher for best results. Twister Green is also used as a cleaning pad under an auto scrubber on a daily basis. 3000 grit diamond pad Normal daily maintenance pad Produces & maintains a Wet Look shine Directions: Cleaning Methods Using Twister Pads Program: TWISTER Standard A three step process that is performed during the standard cleaning routine. For optimal results each Twister step normally requires 2-3 weeks of operating with neutral floor cleaners, depending on the condition of the floor when you start the process. No extra time or human effort is required for the Twister Standard method. Use Twister White during daily maintenance until a clean and uniform surface appears. Change to Twister Yellow and increase the luster, now the brilliance of the floor appears. Continue the process with Twister Green and the result will be an incomparably shiny and clean floor. For daily maintenance use Twister Green to maintain the floor’s shine and splendor. Program: TWISTER Intensive Exactly the same process as Twister Standard, although with each step being run through for 4-6 consecutive passes. The Twister Intensive method is performed outside the standard cleaning routine. Twister Intensive has the advantage of immediately upgrading the floor. Depending on the machine efficiency and the initial wear on the floor, large areas can be finished in one working day. On stone floors use Neutral Stone Cleaner during the upgrade phase. Program: TWISTER Extreme This is the ultimate method for creating extreme shine and luster. The floor is polished with a high-speed machine and Twister Green pad. All types of high-speed machines can be used. Notes: According to the manufacturer, the claimed life of the pad are 250,000 sq. feet per pad. Expected Pad Life When using a standard speed floor machine or automatic floor scrubber the life of a floor pad is between 200,000 – 250,000 square feet per pad. If using the Twister pad with a high speed burnisher (1500 -2000 rpm) the expected life of the pad is between 50,000 – 75,000 square feet per pad.
